Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E, or any blood thinners 24 hours prior

Aftercare: The day of procedure fluids may leak from the tattoo which is normal. You want to wipe your lips every hour with a wet cotton round and pat dry to ensure no fluid is sitting on the lips. You may ice your lips for swelling in a clean ziplock bag. Day 2-10 do not touch your lips with dirty fingers, remember this is an open wound. Do not get your lips wet for too long. Do not pick or pull scabs off prematurely and let them fall off on its own. Keep your lips moisturized as often as possible. Do not sleep on your face, use harsh cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on your lips while healing. Avoid UV rays, tanning beds, and long periods of direct sunlight for 4 weeks. Do not sweat within 10 days as sweat can remove the pigment from your tattoo. No facials, botox, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. Remember lips require patience as the color can darken before lighting up during healing. Lips will heal to a lip tinit instead of lip stick.
